Flower Garden by Eve Bunting – OK Favorite, my son got bored with this one, but I loved it because it’s about a father and daughter getting a birthday gift ready for mother…made me get a little teary 🙂

And if the Moon could Talk by Kate Banks – Not so much Favorite, neither my son or myself liked this one

Too Many Monsters by Eve Bunting – Favorite, great pictures and cute story

Hey, Frog! by Piet Grobler – Almost Favorite, my son liked this one though I didn’t like that the crow “cursed” at the frog. I changed that word while reading so my son wouldn’t ask what cursing was.

Loveykins by Quentin Blake – Almost Favorite, weird story…love the title though

Dinosaurs, Dinosaurs by Byron Barton – OK Favorite, my son usually didn’t want to read this one

The Hat by Jan Brett – OK Favorite, I enjoyed it but my son just thought it was ok

Just a Nap by Mercer Mayer – Favorite, just a cute story about a kid trying to avoid a nap but eventually falling asleep

Fly High, Fly Low by Don Freeman – Almost Favorite, a little too long for my son but he still liked the story…I can understand why it won an award

Farmer Brown Shears his Sheep by Teri Sloat – Almost Favorite, funny little story with good pictures

Arthur’s Birthday by Marc Tolon Brown – Favorite, any book about a birthday party is fun!

What are you doing Sam? by Marie-Louise Gay – Almost Favorite, my son enjoys Stella and Sam

The Beastly Feast by Bruce Goldstone – Almost Favorite, great rhyming in this story

Cousin Ruth’s Tooth by Amy MacDonald – OK Favorite, a little long and too detailed for a 2 yr old

Pig Pig and the Magic Photo Album by David M. McPhail – Almost Favorite, cute little story about saying “cheese” when pictures are taken and my son has started saying it 🙂

Sparky by Flora McDonnell – Favorite, my son sure liked this dog

Rhinos Who Play Soccer by Julie Mammano – Almost Favorite, my son liked this but I didn’t. Not really a story, just describes slang words for soccer

Curious George’s ABCs by H. A. Rey – Almost Favorite, we love that George

Monster Munchies by Laura Joffe Numeroff – Almost Favorite, fun counting book with monsters by a good author

The Tree by Dana Lyons – Not So Much Favorite, my son wouldn’t even let me open it after reading it once, the pictures are pretty except for a very scary bear

Froggy Goes to School by Jonathan London – Favorite, my son really likes Froggy

Max’s Potty by Harriet Ziefert – Almost Favorite, a great book for a 2 1/2 yr old trying to learn about the potty

Tracks in the Snow by Wong Herbert Yee – OK Favorite, my son liked the snow all right

John Deere Big Building’s by DK Publishers – OK Favorite, fun for lifting the flaps

Sheep take a Hike by Nancy Shaw – OK Favorite, a little boring

Naptime, Laptime by Eileen Spinelli – Almost Favorite, just a nice book about napping and cuddling with Grandma

Max’s Chocolate Chicken by Rosemary Wells – Almost Favorite, this book went well with Easter and the chocolate bunny my son got 🙂

The Tale of Hilda Louise by Olivier Dunrea – OK Favorite, a little too long for my 2 yr old

D.W.’s Guide to Preschool by Marc Tolon Brown – OK Favorite, not as good as normal Arthur books

Anna’s Table by Eve Bunting – Not So Much Favorite, very boring for my child

Clifford’s Good Deeds by Norman Bridwell – OK Favorite, I’m getting bored of Clifford and so is my son!

Brush Mona Lisa’s Hair by Julie Appel – Almost Favorite, fun to interest little kids in Art

Round is a Pancake by Joan Sullivan Baranski – Favorite, my son loved finding the round pancakes and doughnuts in this book

Sing a Song of Piglets by Eve Bunting – Almost Favorite, a cute story of the 12 months and 2 pigs

Toes, Ears, & Nose! by Marion Dane Bauer – Favorite, very fun to lift the flaps

The Stars are Waiting by Marjorie Dennis Murray – OK Favorite, nothing special

Beady Bear by Don Freeman – Favorite, this is a black and white book but my son really liked it

Hello! Goodbye! by Aliki – Favorite, a little hard to read jumping around in comic book style, but my son loved it
