Up in Heaven by Emma Chichester Clark – OK Favorite, another weird story about pets

This Car by Paul Collicutt – Almost Favorite, my son enjoys looking at cars and this author’s other book about Trains

Moving Day by Robert Kalan – Almost Favorite, funny story about a crab finding a new shell

The Dream Jar by Lindan Johnson – Not So Much Favorite, we only read this once and my son wasn’t interested

Little Cloud by Eric Carle – OK Favorite, nothing special…too many plain pictures of clouds

Totally Polar by Marty Crisp – Favorite, my son loved all the different things this boy did..especially drinking hot chocolate – great rhyming story and creative idea

The Wednesday Surprise by Eve Bunting – OK Favorite, my son seemed a little bored with this since it was a little longer, but I thought it was a wonderful story and would get emotional almost every time

The Smushy Bus by Leslie Helakoski – OK Favorite, a little too long and too much math for a little toddler

Mrs. Armitage and the Big Wave by Quentin Blake – Favorite, we’ve read some books from this author before and they are very fun and creative

Where do I sleep? by Jennifer Blomgren – OK Favorite, we don’t like dark pictures and it was a little boring

We’re Going on a Picnic! by Pat Hutchins – OK Favorite, we like picnics in our family but this book wasn’t too exciting

Stella’s Dancing Days by Sandy Asher – OK Favorite, a fun story about a cat who danced

The Pumpkin Fair by Eve Bunting – Favorite, very nice rhyming and good story…this author has a lot of good ones for all different ages

Arthur’s Perfect Christmas by Marc Tolon Brown – Almost Favorite, we enjoy Arthur and Christmas…so a good mix!

A Long Way by Katherine Ayres – Favorite, I thought it was way too short at first but my son loved the pictures and story of the girl pretending her box was different things

Snowball Fight! by Jimmy Fallon – Favorite, interesting to find a book by this Saturday Night Live actor, but it was actually pretty good. Fun rhyming story about snowball fights and great illustrations!

I was so Mad by Mercer Mayer – Almost Favorite, I don’t want my son to think about running away like Little Critter, but this is a pretty good book for a toddler learning about his feelings

Happy Birthday, Moon by Frank Asch – Almost Favorite, my son loves Birthdays so he enjoyed this even though it was quite repetitive

All by Myself by Aliki – Favorite, my son loved reading about “up with the bottoms, down with the top” and still quotes it when he tries to get himself dressed
