Weekly Children’s Book Review

I’ve switched our library day to Wednesday instead of Thursday. We were enjoying storytime every Thursday morning, but then my church started a playgroup every Thursday morning and my 2 year old seems to enjoy that interaction more than sitting still at storytime, so we go to playgroup instead.

Last weekend I bought a lot of used books at DI, so we didn’t check books out at the library this week, just read 10 of the new books we got. Here are the reviews:

Clifford the big Red Dog by Norman Bridwell – OK Favorite, doesn’t seem as enthused about this Clifford

Miss Nelson is Back by Harry Allard and James Marshall – OK Favorite, I loved this book as a child so was excited to buy it for my son. Possibly too long for a 2 year old, but he still enjoyed it.
