One Little Spoonful by Aliki – OK Favorite, a little young for my 2 year old

Night-night, Little One by Angela McAllister – Favorite, this was a sweet book

Mr. Putter & Tabby Bake a Cake by Cynthia Rylant – OK Favorite, we’re trying out some longer books and this was somewhat entertaining

First Snow by Bernette G. Ford – OK Favorite, nice story about a rabbit in the snow

My Big Brother by Valorie Fisher – Almost Favorite, we like most brother books since we have 2 boys close in age

A pocket for Corduroy by Don Freeman – Almost Favorite, we like Corduroy and this author

What is Love, Biscuit? by Alyssa Satin Capucilli – Almost Favorite, we like this little Biscuit dog and a nice story of love

I wish that I had Duck Feet by Theo LeSieg – Favorite, this was a funny story with different animal parts

The Happy Hippopotami by Bill Martin – Almost Favorite, quite an entertaining story with good pictures

Roller Coaster by Marla Frazee – Favorite, my son enjoyed this story about a fun ride

A Child’s Good Night Book by Margaret Wise Brown – Almost Favorite, we like good night books 🙂

Christmas is Coming by Claire Masurel – Almost Favorite, we’re getting excited for Christmas, even though it’s still 5 months away!

Thunder Bunny by Barbara Berger – Almost Favorite, I love Barbara Berger’s illustrations and it was an interesting story too

Old Devil Wind by Bill Martin – Almost Favorite, a little spooky for my son but he liked it all right…I thought it was great!

Oh my Baby, Little One by Kathi Appelt – OK Favorite, not too memorable

No Nap by Eve Bunting – Favorite, my son loved this book and I also thought it was funny until my husband pointed out that our son doesn’t seem to want to nap anymore!

Arthur’s Teacher Trouble by Marc Tolon Brown – Almost Favorite, we always like the Arthur gang

Snarlyhissopus by Alan MacDonald – OK Favorite, a silly animal book

How do Dinosaurs Learn their Colors by Jane Yolen – OK Favorite, we like dinosaurs and my son knows his colors so this was a good reminder

Big Brother, Little Brother by Marci Curtis – Almost Favorite, good story about brothers to help my oldest son learn to play with his little brother

Curious George at the Fire Station by Margret Rey and Alan J. Shalleck – Almost Favorite, we like George

Doggie Dreams by Nancy Kapp Chapman – OK Favorite, ok story about what dogs dream about

The Mitten by Jan Brett – OK Favorite, I like her book called The Hat better, this was an ok follow up with a mitten

Noah’s Bed by Las Coplestone – Almost Favorite, funny idea about what life was like on Noah’s ark

Is this Maisy’s House by Lucy Cousins – Almost Favorite, my son still likes lift-the-flap books so this was fun for him

Diary of a Spider by Doreen Cronin – Not So Much Favorite, way too strange for my 2 year old

Today I feel Silly & other Moods by Jamie Lee Curtis – OK Favorite, a good story to teach about different moods…interestingly written by a famous actress

Mama Zooms by Jane Cowen-Fletcher – Almost Favorite, my son liked this story and I thought it was very well done in portraying a woman in a wheelchair as powerful

What’s That Noise? by Michelle Edwards – Favorite, my son loves stories about others being scared lately…it seems to help knowing others are scared sometimes too. Also cute that the brothers end up sleeping together, my two boys will probably be doing that once my 1 year old is out of his crib.

Little Brown Hen’s Shower by Pamela Duncan Edwards – Almost Favorite, my son enjoys reading about people getting presents, like at Little Brown Hen’s Baby Shower

Olivia by Ian Falconer – Almost Favorite, we enjoyed the illustration and the story

Serious Farm by Tim Egan – OK Favorite, this story had a dry sense of humor

Little Granny Quarterback by Bill Martin – Almost Favorite, crazy story but fun!

In the Night Kitchen by Maurice Sendak – Favorite, this author seems to know what children like to read, fun story about Mickey’s imagination

Cars! Cars! Cars! by Grace Maccarone – Almost Favorite, an easy read about different cars

Peaceful Piggy Meditation by Kerry Lee MacLean – Not So Much Favorite, weird and too advanced for children…don’t know why adult stuff is written in children’s books – maybe for 7 – 10 year old age it would work, but not for my 2 year old

The Right Number of Elephants by Jeff Sheppard – Almost Favorite, this was a pretty cute story, fun idea to make counting entertaining (I really like this illustrator – Felicia Bond)
