Brush Mona Lisa’s Hair by Julie Appel – Almost Favorite, fun to interest little kids in Art

Round is a Pancake by Joan Sullivan Baranski – Favorite, my son loved finding the round pancakes and doughnuts in this book

Sing a Song of Piglets by Eve Bunting – Almost Favorite, a cute story of the 12 months and 2 pigs

Toes, Ears, & Nose! by Marion Dane Bauer – Favorite, very fun to lift the flaps

The Stars are Waiting by Marjorie Dennis Murray – OK Favorite, nothing special

Beady Bear by Don Freeman – Favorite, this is a black and white book but my son really liked it

Teeth are not for Biting by Elizabeth Verdick – OK Favorite, a good message to my 9 month old who bites, but not really needed for my 2 year old

Brown Rabbit’s Shape Book by Alan Baker – Almost Favorite, an understated book but enjoyable

My Big Boy Bed by Eve Bunting – Favorite, great story about a big boy bed and a little brother (just like my 2 year old and his baby brother)

Little Quack by Lauren Thompson – OK Favorite, a little too repetitive but my son still liked it

A lot of Otters by Barbara Berger – OK Favorite, pretty pictures…just OK story

Ollie by Olivier Dunrea – Almost Favorite, we like this series of goslings

Duck is Dirty by Satoshi Kitamura – Almost Favorite, very short basic book that my son enjoyed
