There’s a Wocket in my Pocket by Dr. Seuss – OK Favorite, sometimes I don’t think Dr. Seuss is that great (I know I’m against the norm)

Mr. Putter & Tabby Feed the Fish by Cynthia Rylant – OK Favorite, I’m not sure why I got Mr. Putter again, it’s a little long for both my child and me

Amanda Pig and her Best Friend Lollipop by Jean Van Leeuwen – Favorite, my son loves lollipops, so reading about a girl with that name who likes lollipops is a winner!

Maisy Goes to the Library by Lucy Cousins – OK Favorite, nice simple read

Baby Can by Eve Bunting – Almost Favorite, another winner by Eve Bunting

My Red Balloon by Eve Bunting – Almost Favorite, very touching story…sometimes Eve Bunting really gets me teared up with her stories

The Golden Egg Book by Margaret Wise Brown – Almost Favorite, easter eggs are fun and this was a funny story

I’ve been on vacation for a few weeks, but I’m back this week with another book review.

Chicken Chickens by Valeri Gorbachev – Almost Favorite, this was a fun one about gaining courage at the park…my son needs some help sometimes to go down the slide by himself too!

You are to Me by Rebecca Doughty – OK Favorite, pretty good message

Up! by Kristine O’Connel George – Almost Favorite, this was a fun one

Blizzard by Carole Gerber – OK Favorite, I like snow books when it’s so hot during the summer!

Drawing Lessons from a Bear by David M. McPhail – OK Favorite, my son doesn’t really like drawing yet…but this had a good message for older kids

The Flower Girl by Laura Godwin – Almost Favorite, we like reading about weddings and CAKE

Bath Time by Eileen Spinelli – Almost Favorite, we liked this one

Pigs Ahoy! by David M. McPhail – Almost Favorite, this had some good rhymes and a funny story

Big Brown Bear’s Up and Down Day by David McPhail – Almost Favorite, my son likes his slippers so it was neat to read about Big Brown Bear’s slippers and how the rat wanted them

Moonbear’s Dream by Frank Asch – Almost Favorite, this was a fun silly book about dreams…we also like the other Moonbear books

Pig Pig Rides by David M. McPhail – Almost Favorite, we both like these Pig Pig books, David McPhail is a fun author

A Play’s the Thing by Aliki – Not So Much Favorite, I have really liked some books by this author, but this one we did not

One Little Spoonful by Aliki – OK Favorite, a little young for my 2 year old

Night-night, Little One by Angela McAllister – Favorite, this was a sweet book

Mr. Putter & Tabby Bake a Cake by Cynthia Rylant – OK Favorite, we’re trying out some longer books and this was somewhat entertaining

First Snow by Bernette G. Ford – OK Favorite, nice story about a rabbit in the snow

My Big Brother by Valorie Fisher – Almost Favorite, we like most brother books since we have 2 boys close in age

A pocket for Corduroy by Don Freeman – Almost Favorite, we like Corduroy and this author

I wish that I had Duck Feet by Theo LeSieg – Favorite, this was a funny story with different animal parts

The Happy Hippopotami by Bill Martin – Almost Favorite, quite an entertaining story with good pictures

Roller Coaster by Marla Frazee – Favorite, my son enjoyed this story about a fun ride

Christmas is Coming by Claire Masurel – Almost Favorite, we’re getting excited for Christmas, even though it’s still 5 months away!

Thunder Bunny by Barbara Berger – Almost Favorite, I love Barbara Berger’s illustrations and it was an interesting story too

Old Devil Wind by Bill Martin – Almost Favorite, a little spooky for my son but he liked it all right…I thought it was great!

Oh my Baby, Little One by Kathi Appelt – OK Favorite, not too memorable

No Nap by Eve Bunting – Favorite, my son loved this book and I also thought it was funny until my husband pointed out that our son doesn’t seem to want to nap anymore!

How do Dinosaurs Learn their Colors by Jane Yolen – OK Favorite, we like dinosaurs and my son knows his colors so this was a good reminder
