Weekly Children’s Book Review

I’ve been on vacation for a few weeks, but I’m back this week with another book review.

Chicken Chickens by Valeri Gorbachev – Almost Favorite, this was a fun one about gaining courage at the park…my son needs some help sometimes to go down the slide by himself too!

You are to Me by Rebecca Doughty – OK Favorite, pretty good message

Up! by Kristine O’Connel George – Almost Favorite, this was a fun one

Blizzard by Carole Gerber – OK Favorite, I like snow books when it’s so hot during the summer!

Drawing Lessons from a Bear by David M. McPhail – OK Favorite, my son doesn’t really like drawing yet…but this had a good message for older kids

The Flower Girl by Laura Godwin – Almost Favorite, we like reading about weddings and CAKE

Bath Time by Eileen Spinelli – Almost Favorite, we liked this one

Pigs Ahoy! by David M. McPhail – Almost Favorite, this had some good rhymes and a funny story

Big Brown Bear’s Up and Down Day by David McPhail – Almost Favorite, my son likes his slippers so it was neat to read about Big Brown Bear’s slippers and how the rat wanted them
